Kathryn, a graduate of Lafayette High School and the University of Missouri has lived her entire life in Wildwood. She says her favorite places in Wildwood are the B&B Theatre (hello? It’s all the best movies right in town) and Babler State Park (I did so much there with Girl Scouts and AFJROTC at Lafayette). Her parents, Mark and Dawn G., have lived in Wildwood for many years.
From Our Interview with Kathryn:
I love living here because I get the city and the country, both within a 20 or 30 minute drive. I didn’t appreciate it enough when I was younger, but as I got older, went to school, studied abroad, I just found myself missing it. Living here has made me appreciate green spaces more.
The people are really great. They’re friendly, and it’s taught me to be friendlier and more neighborly. That’s just an expectation here, and to be part of the community, and I think you get so much more out of that when you put something into your community.
Kathryn will be leaving Wildwood for graduate studies at Duke University in the fall. She will be seeking a Master’s Degree In Public Policy.
